Orders earn points on their total, tied to your Sterling order reference. The order's status is mapped to match your own fulfillment pipeline.

A return reverses the points from the original order.

The order's billing customer is matched to the loyalty member by your own customer ID or email.
How the integration works
A managed connector — no code to build.
This is a managed connector you set up in-app under Settings → Data Sources — no engineering project, no custom middleware. Your team enters the connection details, checks it, and previews exactly what would land before anything goes live. It runs on the same governed, secure data pipe as every other source, and every record is matched to the right member — orders that arrive twice are only ever counted once.
Where it stands today
In design-partner validation. Sterling's order statuses are configurable per retailer, so they're mapped to your own setup during onboarding; the connector ships with safe defaults and never assumes fixed codes. Product sync comes later.
